Boris Dimovski

Boris Dimovski was born on October 20, 1925 in the village of Yavorovo, Asenovgrad. He graduated secondary school in Asenovgrad and studied one year at the Art Academy in Sofia in the class of prof. Illiya Beshkov. He has worked in the fields of caricature, illustration, monumental painting, stage design, poster, etc. An important page in his creative biography is the joint collaboration with writer Radoy Ralin. He has done illustrations for books "Molya Zapovyadaite" (Please come) (1966) and "Lyuti chushki" (Hot Peppers) (1968) of Radoy Ralin, "Nevchesani Misli" (Bushy Thoughts) (1968) by St. Jerzy Lets, "Gabrovo Jokes" (1970), theater scenographies to "Improvisations by Valery Petrov and Radoy Ralin" (1961 Satirical Theatre), "The Divine Comedy" by Isidore Stock (1967, Ruse Theatre) and others. He was a deputy in the National Assembly. He died on March 26, 2007 in Sofia.
