Ensemble Pazardjik

Ensemble Pazardjik was founded in 1962 with the aim to search for, to keep and popularize the exclusively beautiful and various folklore of the region of Pazardjik (Southern Bulgaria). Its programme includes the best elements of all folklore regions in Bulgaria , these elements are united in a dynamic and attractive performance which can satisfy the most subtle tastes. The professional performances are added with the perpetual change of the most beautiful costumes of all folklore regions of Bulgaria. The programme can be performed on a scene , inside a hall or outside among the nature. Ensemble Pazardjik consists of 50 participants- soloists , choir , orchestra of national Bulgarian instruments and a group of dancers- all professionals, graduates in special folklore high schools and universities. Every year the ensemble has between 60 and 80 performances in Bulgaria and abroad.
