Youth Theater Nikolay Binev

The Children’s People Theater was established in the end of 1944 chaired by P.K.Stoichev as a branch of the People’s Theater. The first premier was perform of January 25 –Puss in Boots. Since 1946 it is detached as an independent state institute and was named People’s Theater for the Youth. It was granted the building of the movie-center Balkan. Generally two departments were formed – one for children and one for elder. The group of actors has always been very prestige. In the years the Theater has achieved the reputation of perfect interpreter of contemporary and classical plays, performed by some of the best actors and producers in Bulgaria. The Theater has been striving to keep its high creative criterion. The group of actors is constantly expanded and some of the most perspective names of the Bulgarian Theater are invited. This is a guarantee of the high quality of the Youth Theater. On January 27, 2006 by a decree of the President the People’s Theater for the Youth was renamed to Youth Theater Nikolay Binev.
