Open cultural institutions days

On January 10, 2007 the Ministry of Culture organizes Open Museums Day on the occasion of Bulgaria’s accession to the European Union. 38 state and municipal museums, as well as 20 galleries will be visited for free. Free shows will be performed in all the state theaters in the country within the Ministry’s initiative. Music spectacles and concerts will be also free in the Open cultural institutions week in the Opera- philharmonic units in Rousse, Plovdiv, Bourgas, Varna, Vidin, Shoumen, Pleven, Vratsa, and in the Musical-drama theaters in Veliko Tarnovo, Razgrad and Kardjali. The initiatives will last until January 19.
