The rock phenomenon Djuglata is located 8 km north of the town of Svoge, in the region of the village of Tzerovo. It is about 18 m high, and its strange shape resembles a human head. It is built of horizontal rock layers, which have survived the destructive activity of the Iskar river for millenia. Djuglata has been officially declared as a natural landmark in 1964. | |||
