The findings of this settlement date back to the end of the middle and the beginning of the Late Paleolithic era and are classified as examples of muster culture and the settlement probably was inhabited by Neanderthals. It is located in two caves distance of 30 m. from one another - Samuilitsa I and Samuilitsa II. The caves are formed in the Upper Cretaceous limestones. The smaller one of them is Samuilitsa I.
