In 1885 in St. Petersburg was printed the first Bulgarian banknote

The first Bulgarian banknote is printed in St. Petersburg in 1885. The banknote with number 000001 is stored now in the Historical Museum of Gabrovo. The nominal is 20 leva, dimensions - 150 x 97 mm and on it is a watermark of BNB. The face of the note is a brown box on light ocher, and in the left corner depicts the coat of arms.
