Bratushkovo Dam Lake

The Bratushkovo dam lake is situated some 30 km away from Sofia and is one of the most picturesque reservoirs in the region of the Slivnitsa town. The artificial lake is located some 2 km away from the village of Aldomirovtsi. The Bratushkovo Dam Lake offers excellent opportunities for sport fishing and ecotourism. Spread on 150 decares of water area and among beautiful scenery, the dam lake attracts a lot of people, mainly fishermen, to spend their holiday in fresh air and in the unique atmosphere of tranquillity and impressive landscape. The water in the lake comes from a pure catchment basin, and the fish has superb food features. The dam lake is open for sport fishing 7 days a week, offering the fishermen grass carp (white amur), carp, bighead carp.
